Overview

Whether you’re buying a property, managing a commercial portfolio, or need to understand your roof’s condition, a professional inspection delivers the clarity you need. Reports are prepared by a Licensed Building Practitioner and suitable for due diligence, asset management, and compliance records.

Inspection Types

Pre-Purchase Inspection

Condition assessment and indicative remaining service life for homebuyers and investors. Suitable for due diligence before settlement.

Commercial Portfolio Assessment

Condition matrix across your portfolio, prioritised maintenance needs by urgency, and a recommended rolling inspection and maintenance schedule.

Insurance Claim Support

Photo-documented damage reports describing condition at time of inspection. See insurance claim note below.

Routine Condition Check

Annual or periodic monitoring to track deterioration over time and support maintenance planning. Recommended as part of a PPM programme.

What’s Included

  • On-site professional inspection (typically 1–2 hours for residential)
  • Minimum 20 high-resolution photographs
  • Written condition assessment with findings and prioritised recommendations
  • Indicative remaining service life estimate (based on visible condition at time of inspection)
  • Compliance observations relative to NZ Building Code and Roofing Code of Practice
  • Digital delivery — PDF report and full photo set within 3 working days
Insurance Claim Note

Our reports describe roofing condition based on visible evidence at time of inspection. We do not act as loss adjusters or insurance assessors. Confirm with your insurer that an independent roofing report will be accepted as supporting documentation before commissioning for claim purposes.

From One-Off Inspection to Long-Term Protection

A one-off inspection tells you where your roof is today. A PPM programme tells you where it’s going — and keeps it performing year after year.

If your inspection reveals signs of wear, ageing, or recurring issues, a tailored PPM programme is almost always more cost-effective than reactive repairs. We can provide a no-obligation PPM proposal alongside your inspection report.
